  • As of 8 PM, 20 Jan, a total of 20,476 samples were tested and found more 478 new cases and 11 deaths. MoHS has reported 135,721 of total confirmed cases including 119,314 discharged, and 2,997 deaths.
  • During the National League for Democracy (NLD) administration,  from Jan 1, 2016  to Jan 12, 2021, it was earned more than $ 1,400,000 through the permanent residency system, said Vice-president U Henry Van Thio at a coordination meeting of the Management Committee on the permanent residency system for foreigners on Jan 20.
