Former movie star-turned-charity worker Kyaw Thu has been been providing free funerals to Burma’s poor for more than a decade. His Free Funerals Service Society has comforted more than 100,000 families who otherwise would struggle to pay for burials and ceremonies in a country where a third of the population is below the poverty line.
