BUSINESS - Bangkok Airways offers more flights for ASEAN summit

The sole operator of the Bangkok – Naypyidaw route will increase its frequency from five to seven flights a week to accommodate travellers attending the 2014 ASEAN summit, the Bangkok Post reported. Bangkok Airways deploys a 70-seat ATR-72 turboprop, as demand on the route typically does not warrant larger planes, even during peak season. The regular five-flight schedule will resume in June.
