BRIEF - Two Burmese fishermen escape fishing trawler, rescued at sea

The Thai navy found two Burmese fishermen who fled from an abusive work situation on a vessel this weekend, according to the Pattaya Daily News. Vice Admiral Veerapan Sukgon said he was notified that two people were detected floating about 4 nautical miles from the coast of Pattaya. Aged 20 and 26, Knai and Chill was rescued holding a bag containing money and clothes. They said that they were treated like slaves on the trawler, and so they decided to escape with a floating tank during the night.
