Brit backpacker death not related to Koh Tao murders

A British tourist died on the southern Thai island of Koh Tao on 21 January, though no foul play is suspected. The death of Christina Annesley, 23, reportedly from natural causes, follows the gruesome murder of fellow Brits David Miller, 24, and Hannah Witheridge, 23, on the same island in September, for which two Burmese migrants are currently on trial. The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office has confirmed Annesley’s death.
