On this week’s episode of DVB’s Doh Pyay Doh Myay Roadshow, the team takes the road to Myitkyina, the capital of Kachin State.
The team passes through ghost villages along the highway, homes which now lay abandoned as a now three year civil war continues to rage.
The team then hears from the environmentalists and community activists challenging the Myitsone dam project, which they say threatens to choke the mighty Irrawaddy.
