    • Despite the lethal crackdown happening, anti-coup protesters have been massively rallying today making their further general strike in Yangon and  other cities such as Mandalay, Naypyidaw, Monyar and other cities across the country.  Riot police and soldiers have been violently dispersing, firing tear gas, setting off stun grenades and shooting guns into the air, leaving more than dozen of protesters have been injured and arrested. 
    • According to Assistance Association for Political Prisoners-AAPP’s statistics,   a total of 854 people have been arrested, of them a total of 771 are still under detention or have outstanding charges as of Feb.27, 10:30pm local time.  It is reported that due to the countrywide lethal crackdown of the military,  at least 8 of total people have been killed since Feb 1 coup, and at least five journalists were arrested in one day yesterday.
    • In Dawei, Tanintharyi region, security forces used live rounds, rubber bullets, and tear gas to disperse the anti-military regime protest, leaving at least three people killed, about 20 injured, and more than 20 arrested today.
    • Several youths were arrested and brutally cracked down on the anti-coup demonstration in Insein township, Yangon on Sunday morning.
    • The National Management Degree College (NMDC) called for the immediate release of Ma Shwe Yi Pwint Oo, a third-year journalism student, who was unjustly arrested at Tamwe Ocean Center on the morning of Feb 28. 
    • Pu Lalawmpuia, the CEO of Hakha Time Media, has been arrested while covering the protest on Saturday in Chin State.
    • At least 60 medical students and doctors were arrested and dispersed while they were gathering to protest around Yankin, Moekaung in Yangon this morning.
    • In Pathein, Ayeyarwady region, security forces violently cracked down on protesters by using rubber bullets, tear gas, and water cannon at around 8 am today, arrested more than 20 protesters including teachers, and also attempted to arrest journalists.
    • After delivering a speech by representing Myanmar’s ousted civilian government at yesterday’s UN General Assembly meeting, UN Permanent Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun was dismissed by the military-formed Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
    • As of 8 PM, 26 Feb, a total of 1,110 samples were tested and found 15 more new cases and 1 death. MoHS has reported 141,890 of total confirmed cases including 131,454 discharged, and 3,199 deaths.
