    • As of 8 PM, 25 Jan, a total of 17,924 samples were tested and found more 383 new cases and 7 deaths. MoHS has reported 137,957 of total confirmed cases including 122,116  discharged, and 3,069 deaths.
    • 38 townships have been reported thousands of Covid-19 cases, including 29 townships in Yangon region, 6 townships in Mandalay region, each township in Bago, Rakhine, and Mon region respectively, Mingalardon township has the highest number of Covid-19 cases with 6,079 and North Okkalapa township ranks 2nd with 5,867, according to the Ministry of Health and Sport.
    • Compensation for the Letpadaung copper mine project differs from the report of the investigation commission led by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, locals said at a press conference held near Sete village in Sagaing region on Jan 25.
