Troops from a breakaway faction in the Democratic Karen Buddhist Army (DKBA) militia are now manning positions deep within territory in Karen state following an order from the Burmese government to capture their leader, Na Kham Mwe. He and his group of some 1,500 DKBA renegades have rejected calls to transform into a Border Guard Force and are now wanted men, facing up to former colleagues who last week officially transformed and thus swore their allegiance to the government
