Solidarity with Myanmar show raises funds for earthquake relief

A Solidarity with Myanmar concert for earthquake relief was held at Yoda’s CNX Gallery in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on April 4. It featured performances from punk and metal bands Smellcorpses, Puppets, TwoThousand, and Grapefruite.

“I planned to organize a show for Myanmar people impacted by the earthquake. Some of my friends in Chiang Mai supported me. I have a connection with Myanmar punks,” said Hideki Takasaki, the Solidarity in Myanmar concert organizer. I am always supporting Myanmar people.”

All proceeds will go toward Food Not Bombs Maesot, which is based in Mae Sot, Thailand, along the Thai-Myanmar border.
