BREAKING – 2 Burmese arrested for Koh Tao murders: AP

Thai police on Friday arrested two Burmese workers on charges of rape and murder in a case involving the killing of two British tourists on the island of Koh Tao, Associated Press has reported. Thailand’s national police chief Gen. Somyot Poompanmoung reportedly said the pair confessed to the killing, and that DNA results, closed-circuit television footage and other evidence have backed up the men’s confessions that they raped and killed Hannah Witheridge, 23, and murdered David Miller, 24.
