Burma has concluded its largest naval show of naval strength in recent years, according to a report by military intelligence analysts IHT Jane’s. “Dubbed ‘Sea Shield 2014’, the combined fleet exercise was held in the third week of March in the Andaman Sea off Myanmar’s southwestern coast and ended on 22 March with a fleet review presided over by armed forces (Tatmadaw) Commander-in-Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at Cocogyun, near Yangon,” the report said.
