Murderous menstruation?

An eminent Burmese specialist of obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Soe Lwin, has suggested that women are prone to violent urges due to their ovulation cycle, warning that they are known to commit crimes of agitation during menstruation. The author of Pre-Menstrual Murderous Urges, speaking at a health conference in Rangoon on 11 January, said: “Every woman at the time of menstruation should control herself.” Soe Lwin, who was featured in Myanmar Times’ 2014 list of 100 medical names in the medical profession, recommends taking a walk or listening to music if experiencing extreme anger.
