The ethnic armed group KNU delegation, comprising of General Secretary Naw Zipporah Sein, Military Affairs Committee Secretary Htoo Htoo Lay and KNLA GOC General Mutu Saipo, and the Myanmar government peace team comprising of Rail Transport Minister Aung Min and Immigration Minister Khin Yi met Yangon-based diplomats, INGO and journalists at a reception at the Sedona Hotel in Yangon today. The KNU delegation arrived here today to hold peace talks with the Myanmar government at Union Level on Friday. The two sides had earlier signed a ceasefire in Kayin State capital Pa-an in January.
