DVB’s David Stout interviews Guy Horton from SOAS University of London, about his recent time in Kachin state. Horton discusses the state of the conflict in northern Kachin state, the threat to civilians, China’s involvement and the international community’s response to the conflict. Horton said he was concerned, “that there may be some sort of humanitarian disaster at the end of all this”.
