Stanley Coombe poses with a picture of a Spitfire fighter plane after a news conference at the Parkroyal hotel in Yangon January 9, 2013. David Cundall, a farmer from Britain, will be accompanied by Coombe as they lead efforts to unearth more than 30 Spitfire fighter planes, 17 years after he first heard rumours they were buried under a World War Two airfield. Coombe, now in his early 90s, was stationed in Myanmar at the end of the war and saw crates of Spitfires being buried under Mingaladon airfield.
