‘Together’ exhibit features pressed flower art on Myanmar

An exhibition featuring pressed flower art called “Together” opened at The Commune CNX in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on July 7 to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of “7 July Student Uprising” and to raise funds for resistance groups in Myanmar.

“We are holding this exhibition in Chiang Mai with the title ‘Together,’ both as a day of remembrance and a day of honor. Additionally, to overthrow this dictatorship, we need essential strength, funds, and provisions,” said Min Thet Htet Aung, the organizer.

He also runs a group called Pressed Flower Artist-Myanmar to help raise funds for the resistance to military rule in Myanmar. The “Together” art exhibition will run until July 10 at The Commune CNX.
