Oct 23, 2007 (DVB), Social activist and prominent writer Than Myint Aung, who supported protesting monks last month at Shwe Dagon pagoda, has been taken from her house twice for questioning, according to her family members.
Than Myint Aung, who is also a member of actor Kyaw Thu’s Free Funeral Service Society, was taken from her house in Pazundaung township, Rangoon, yesterday by officials from the police information force, said one of her family members.
She was released at around 12 midnight.
Than Myint Aung was also picked up by police officers for questioning on 21 October and then released before being taken in for the second time yesterday.
