Over four years since the military coup on Feb. 1, 2021 and the situation for human rights in Myanmar has worsened by the day. Peaceful anti-coup protests were violently suppressed by the military, which led to a nationwide uprising against dictatorship. But the military has resorted to unimaginable levels of violence to subdue the population of 54 million in Myanmar who want a return to democracy.
