Prominent Myanmar youth activist and strike leader Nan Lin accepted the 2026 Democracy Award from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) on behalf of the “pro-democracy community organizers of Burma’s Spring Revolution” during an annual ceremony held at George Washington’s Mount Vernon in the U.S. state of Virginia on Sept. 10.
