Jan 20, 2009 (DVB), Dala township National League for Democracy member Min Thike Htoo was arrested by local authorities on 14 January, according to NLD information wing member Dr Win Naing.
Min Thike Htoo's arrest came two days after the detention of two other NLD members from Dala township, Htet Soe Lin and Thet Paing Min.
Dr Win Naing said that while the reason for the arrests was still unknown, it was likely the three arrests were linked.
