Cybercrime on the rise across Southeast Asia

Over 120,000 people from Myanmar are being forced to work in cyber scam companies. The U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) states that hundreds of thousands across Southeast Asia have been forced to do the same. It made recommendations to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on a framework to address this situation.
