Rakhine State schools to reopen June 1 despite destruction


The Rakhine State Education Department will reopen all of its 3,000 schools on June 1, according to the military. Many schools were either damaged or destroyed by Cyclone Mocha on May 14. Despite this, students must enrol and attend once classes resume.
