Mar 26, 2008 (DVB), Several firearms were seized by Rangoon division police on Saturday at a bus terminal in the Bago division capital Kambawza, according to local residents.
A bus driver at the Kambawza terminal said eight guns were seized by the Rangoon police, who travelled to Bago after making a similar seizure in Rangoon earlier in the day.
"It was the Rangoon police who seized the guns but they didn’t catch the owner of the weapons," said the bus driver.
"They only let the Bago police know about their operation after they arrived at the bus terminal."
