Full time photographer, part time mountaineer Kyaw Thar is displaying photographs of a gruelling solo journey to the peaks of northern Kachin State’s highest mountains.
Between April and May Kyaw Tha summited Phongkan, Phongyen and Phongram – each over 10,000ft high.
Kyaw Thar’s collection of over one hundred photographs takes in the lush pine forests of the Himalayan foothills, as well as the stunning white abyss atop Burma’s highest mountains.
