BREAKING NEWS: Election results 5

The UEC has released the fifth round of election results.

At just after 9am local time, UEC chairperson Tin Aye announced the results of 54 regional parliament seats.

The NLD won a total of 49 regional seats, with two going to the  USDP, two to Kachin State Democracy Party and one for Mon National Party.

NLD wins in Magwe Division: Salin-1, U Ta; Salin-2, Thet Khine; Thayet-1, Aye Yu Maw; Thayet-2, Zaw Moe Aung; Mindon-1, Tin Win; Mindon-2, Aye Hlaing Oo; Yenanchaung-1, Tint Lwin; Yenanchaung-2, Thein Hla.

The Kachin State Democracy Party has won: Injanyang-1, Zaw Moe Naw; Injanyang-2, Ja Seng Khon.

The USDP has won in Karenni [Kayah] State regional parliament: Bawlakhe-1, Aye Shwe; Bawlakhe-2, Soe Reh.

In Tenasserim Division the NLD won: Launglon-1, Bo Htwe; Launglon-2, Myint San; Thayetchaung-1, Le Le Maw; Thayetchaung-2, Wai Wai Lwin.

In Mandalay Division, another sweep for NLD: Maha Aungmyay-1, Zarni Aung; Maha Aungmyay-2, Zaw Zaw Aung; Pyigyi Tagon-1, Chit Ko Ko; Pyigyi Tagon-2, Zaw Maung (also known as Zaw Maung Maung); Tada-U-1, Min Min Ni; Tada-U-2, Wunna Aung; Kyaukpadaung-1, Aye Khine; Kyaukpadaung-2, Myo Swe Oo; Wundwin-1, Soe Min Htet; Wundwin-2, Aung Thu.

In Mon State, the NLD won: Moulmein-1, Min Htin Aung Han; Moulmein-2, Htein Linn; Thanbyuzayet-1, Tin Ei; Thanbyuzayet-2, Tun Htay; Mudon-1, Mya Theingi Maw.

Mon National Party candidate Naing Kyi Win (also known as Min Kyi Win) won Mudon-2.

NLD wins in Rangoon Division: Htantabin-1, Aung Bhone Kyaw San Oo; Htantabin-2, Htay Maw; North Okkalapa-1, Zaw Lwin; North Okkalapa-2, Myint Lwin; Botahtaung-1, Aung Htoo; Botahtaung-2, Thet Tun Win; Kungyangon-1, Mahn Aung Ko Min; Kungyangon-2, Aung Min Min; Sanchaung-1, Aung Myo; Sanchaung-2, Thawda Aung; Bahan-1, Aung Myat Kyaw; Bahan-2, Thaung Htut.

NLD wins in Irrawaddy Division: Zalun-1, Lin Naing Tun; Zalun-2, Khine Win; Lemyethna-1, Soe Khine; Lemyethna-2, Soe Than; Kyangin-1, Thaw Zin Win; Kyangin-2, Kyaw Myo Lin; Ingapu-1, Aung Kyaw Khine; Ingapu-2, Bo Bo Zin; Nyaungdon-1, Ni Ni Moe; Nyaungdon-2, Kyaw San.
