Where is Thuzar Maung and her family? Missing in Malaysia

A timeline of the Thuzar Maung family abduction and disappearance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On July 4, unidentified men abducted Thuzar Maung, 46, a Myanmar citizen registered as a refugee with the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and her family in Malaysia. Her husband, Saw Than Tin Win, 43, her daughter Poeh Khing Maung, 16, and her sons Aung Myint Maung, 21, and Thukha Maung, 17, have all been missing since. All are registered with the UNHCR and under the protection of the Malaysian government. Since Aug. 5, there has been no news or updates from the Malaysian authorities about Thuzar Maung and her family’s abduction and disappearance from their home in Kuala Lumpur.
